Who we are

Josh Sears

Race promoters Josh Sears (left) and Mark Moerner (right) are both avid cyclists, but they are fathers first. They understand that many riders are busy with the rigors of life and that is why they made the commitment to bring a shorter more attainable series to gravel racing.

Give Them Something They'll Love!

It's not an easy task, but it's one we will strive to acheive. We hope that year after year this series grows, that lasting friendships are made and stories are written that will last  a lifetime.

Rage Against the Chainring

These events will take place ev ery year in March and April. (we did our best to not harm any other race promoters in the setting of these dates)

These gravel races will take place on 4 courses in the Wichita area. Each event will consist of several classes in which riders can register. There will be two distance options, including a 50 mile course for the race competitors and a shorter 25 mile course for those who just want to come out, ride and enjoy the camaraderie.

As race promoters we are proud of our community and the growing gravel grinding scene. It is our mission, through this series, to showcase that pride and the areas where we love to ride.

As organizers Mark and Josh both have young kids and run businesses. When they sat down to plan this series they asked themselves, "What kind of gravel race do you want to see more of?"

The answer was resounding. There aren't enough gravel races that don't completely destroy brownie points with the family. Our hope is that you will relate, come out and use these races as friendly competition and a tune-up for your bigger aspirations later in the season.
