Rage Against the Chainring
The first race in the series, Renegades of Gravel will take place in the Derby area on March 21st. Bulls on Parade, the second event will be held on the gravel roads West of Wichita. It is set for March 28th. Rage of Oz will take pl...ace East of Wichita on April 25th, while the final race, Roll Right will be held North of town on May 2nd. Registration for the races will open at bikereg on Saturday 12/20 at 8 a.m. Cost will be $24.99 for each race and $19.99 for the tour. If you register for all four races the cost will drop to $19.99 a race. There will be A, B, C and Single Speed classes. Course maps and GPS files will be posted the first part of January. Note, it is our objective to keep these courses simple to navigate and therefore markings will be minimal. All of these races will start at approx. 9 a.m. Racers will complete 2 laps on a 25 mile loop. Riders on the tour will complete 1 lap on the same course and will leave shortly after the race group. We have chosen to go with a lap format so that, weather "somewhat" permitting family and friends have more of an opportunity to cheer on their riders.
