What a Weekend

This past weekend was the second race in the annual Rage Against the Chainring race series. What an amazing turn out! We had 92 riders show up to Boudreux Burger Barn in Peck, Kansas. I am so happy that riders of all levels are challenging themselves at our races.

Nathan Wadsworth and Evan Fast of the Stan's NoTubes/Panaracer team p/b BXC are in incredible early season form. The finished the race in 2:29:12 and :13 respectively. For the third straight weekend going back to the LR100 they put at least two riders on the podium and in all three cases they occupied the top two steps. A big shout out two two other local riders for their efforts on a third place tie in A group, Lee Lamunyon and Ryan Jones burnt up the course as well to tie for third place.

There are two more races left in the series, April 16th at Clearwater Golf Course/Tee Time Cafe. Our friends from Hopping Gnome Brewery will be there afterwards so it's a can't miss. The finale will once again be out at Stearman Field Bar and Grill on April 30th. Walnut River Brewing will be back out and again this should be a top notch finish to another great series of events!
